  Football Wrap-Up 12/29/07
Making history isn’t supposed to be easy, and the New York Giants were well aware that with there playoff spot secure the only thing they were playing for was to keep from becoming a foot note to the a history making New England Patriots as they cap off a 16-0 regular season. Four quarters later, records are broken, history is made, and the Patriots become the first NFL team to go undefeated in the regular season since the 1972 Dolphins went 14-0.

Plus, three more Bowl games that don’t particularly matter:

Meineke Bowl
Wake Forest 24, Connecticut 10

Liberty Bowl
Mississippi St. 10, UCF 3

Alamo Bowl
Penn St. 24, Texas A&M 17

Today, more NFL Week 17 games that actually mean somthing to the playoff landscape.
